What EnergyBot is
EnergyBot is a platform for optimizing energy consumption in homes and businesses with solar systems. It automatically manages EV charging, battery storage, and smart appliances based on real spot electricity prices and solar production.
Why it exists
It was born from a simple need: have a system that itself decides when to charge the car, when to charge the battery from the grid, and when to sell — all based on real data, not guesses.
Most existing solutions offer either simple time-based automation (turn off at 10pm) or an expensive proprietary system with vendor lock-in. EnergyBot combines advanced forecasting and real-time control in one platform — without depending on any single manufacturer.
What we do differently
- Fast reactions. Decisions happen in real time, not once an hour.
- Forward planning. We don’t wait for something to happen — we plan ahead based on forecasts.
- Installation protection. BreakerGuard watches phases and prevents the breaker from tripping.

Pricing
EnergyBot is honorware — using it is free. You only need a commonly available hardware module from €20. Software, hosting, and updates are free.
